RSport Rally driver Scott Trinder has a new co-driver in 2003 for the Western Canadian Rally Championship. Bill Westhead brings extensive experience to the team. "I am totally confident in Bill's abilities,” says Scott. "I am excited to be part of the RSport Rally team. Scott has delivered some top results recently and I hope that together we are able to accomplish solid finishes in our class in an effort to complete a hat trick in the Western Canadian Rally Championship" says Bill.

The Cochrane Rally will be held this March 23, 2003 in Cochrane, Alberta 45 miles west of Calgary. In 2002 the event was a mix of ice, snow, and mud making tire choice tough. This year’s event is no different. Leading up to this weekend's rally in Cochrane, which only a week ago was under a blanket of snow, having been hit with a barrage of "Chinooks" (warm weather fronts) that melted everything leaving muddy and tricky roads for the teams. "I have the ice/snow tires on the car as anything can happen up there. The weather changes daily so we will be carrying the gravel tires as well." says Scott

RSport Rally now has 5 team members all competing for different championships. As stated, 2002 Western Canadian Rally Champion Scott Trinder will be competing for the 2003 Western Canadian Rally Championship in the Production Class with Bill Westhead. Scott will also be competing with Knight Motorsports Inc. in the 2003 SCCA Pro Rally Championship with either Bob Trinder or Paul Westwick in the co-drivers seat. Bob Trinder will be competing with Andy White in the PGT North West Region SCCA Rally Championship in the United States.

The Next event for the team will be the RIM of the World Pro Rally based out of Palmdale, California. Scott will be driving RIM with father Bob in the co-drivers seat for the Knight Motorsport Inc. team based out of Fontana, California.
