RSport Rally driver Bob Trinder and Navigator Andy White will compete in this weekends Doo Wop club rally based out of Shelton near Olympia, Washington. The pair have entered the event in the RSport Rally Toyota Corolla GTS in the Group 5 catagory. This years event has drawn over 45 entries to date and is recognized as one of the premier events in the WSRC (Western States Rally Chmapionship).

Thanks to the eforts of RSport Rally sponsor AMT Machine Shop the corolla is now fitted with a proper rack and pinion steering system. The x-works Toyota was originally fitted with an older worm and ball steering system. "I am looking forward to driving the car with the rack and pinion. The system is not totally complete as we receieved the close ratio gear set today but will not have time to install it prior to the event," says Bob"

"I am looking forward to running in the Corolla with Bob this weekend. The Doo Wop rallys offer some of my favorite stages in the North West," says Andy. "The Doo Wop rally's were my first stage events run in the north west aside from the Olympus round of the WRC rally Championship, the organizers and selection of great stage roads make the event one to look forward to each year" says Bob.
