Trinder Wins 2003 Western Canadian P4 Rally Championship!

Total Autosport, RSport Rally driver Scott Trinder wins the Western Canadian Rally Championship in Production 4 class for a second consecutive year, however, the season is far from over yet for the RSport Rally team…

This November 9th RSport Rally in conjunction with Pacific Parts, Vancouver and Total Autosport will be entering the Kananaskis Rally based out of Cochrane, Alberta. Trinder enters the event as two-time class champion but is currently standing second in the overall Western Canadian Rally Championship, which he won in 2002. Scott needs to drive a paced event this weekend as the RSport Rally Subaru should be put on a train the next day headed for the final event in the North American and Canadian National Rally Championships based in Bancroft, Ontario.

“We will be running in conservative mode this weekend at the Kananaskis rally. If things work out we should be loading the car on the train the next day,” says Scott. “Scott has run an extremely calculated season this year, however, his season is not over and our entire crew will be there to do everything possible to ensure that the RSport Rally Subaru is in optimum shape to tackle each stage at the event,” says Ken Kwong.

RSport Rally’s next event pending the teams result at the Kananaskis rally is the Rally of the Tall Pines. Tall Pines will be the deciding event in the Production 4 Canadian National Rally Championship and the North American P4 Rally Championship. Trinder currently stands first in the North American Rally P4 Championship, Second in points in the Canadian National Rally Championship, second in the Western Canadian Rally Championship overall, and has recently won the Western Canadian Rally Championship in P4.

AMT Machine Works and Pacific Parts have both played a substantial role in the preparation of the teams RSport Rally Subaru heading into the final rounds. “I would like to thank my brother Adam at AMT Machine Works for all the time he has spent on the car. I would also like to thank Wayne at Pacific Parts for the firms substantial support of our team over the past few years,” says Scott.
