RSport Rally, in conjunction with Total Autosport, will be entering a team of two rally cars in the Mountain Trials Rally held this October 18, 2003 in Merritt, BC. Driver: Scott Trinder will be competing with navigator Bill Westhead in the team's Subaru Impreza, in the Production 4 class. And driver Bob (Twiz) Trinder will be piloting the team's 1986 Toyota Corolla GTS with Andy White as navigator in the Group 2 category.

Mountain Trials is the penultimate event in the 2003 Western Canadian Rally Championship and Scott Trinder is currently tied for 1st place in class in the Championship. "Above all a solid finish in class is our main objective at this event. We do not intend to dice with the others for a top 3 finish," stated Scott. Meanwhile, Bill commented "I'm looking forward to competing with Scott once again. We completed our first rally together earlier in the season and I'm confident that Scott and I will be able to gel from the first stage."

Bob Trinder is looking forward to getting behind the wheel of his ex-works Toyota Corolla GTS, "I've been navigating most of the season and look forward to driving for a change at our home event," he said. His navigator Andy White reflected, "It's been a while since I had the opportunity to navigate for the team because of their varied championship obligations. I'm looking forward to getting into the Corolla as it's a true grunty rally car that sure sounds and feels fast, even though I'm sure the quiet and smooth Subaru will set quicker stage times!"

RSport Rally's results to date have been impressive. Currently the team is: tied for 1st place in the Western Canadian Rally P4 Championship; 3rd Overall in the Western Canadian Rally Championship. 1st in the North American Rally P4-Championship; and 2nd in points in the Canadian National Rally P4 Championship. Driver Scott Trinder is the 2002 Western Canadian National Champion Overall and in class.
