RSport Rally has recently acquired the 1995 Subaru Impreza WRX RA rallycar previously driven by Hiroyuki Genta of Kyoto, Japan. The car wasoriginally driven in select rallies in the US, Australia and Japan.Unique in Canada, the car is and will remain right hand drive!

PFR will be a shake down event for both the car and myself. Driving in the right seat will take some getting used to and I plan to enter more events this year to become more acquainted with thecar," Says Scott. "I'm looking forward to getting back to the natural side of the car!" Bob mentioned, as he had spent close to 15 years rallying in Eng land and should be able to make the transition to the new seating configurationmore readily than Scott.

RSport Rally would like to thank RMT Contracting www.rmtcontracting.com for the sponsorship and purchase of the new car and Tech Works Engineering Inc. www.techworkseng.com for their primary sponsorship role at Pacific Forest.

In 2000 Scott Trinder won the Pacific Forest Rally overall, with brotherAdam navigating. PFR was my brother's first real stage rally and we wonthe event together back in 2000," recalled Scott. "However, this year the event will be a shake down for both the car and myself, so our goalis just to finish.

Meanwhile, the car would not have been ready for the event without theassistance of many people in the local rally scene. "I would specifically like to thank Pat Richard for his advice that gotus going in the right direction; Tony Latham and Jarret for thecountless hours they spent diagnosing and assisting with preparartion;Adam Trinder (AMT Machine Works)for adding a lot of steel to the c,P. ar to make it strong!and, Bill Westhead for his electrical assistance, and finally Terry Epp and Paul Westwickfor their logistical assistance" Scott noted.
