The RSport Rally Team, formerly Team Trinder officially purchased the Rocket Rally Subaru Impreza RS of (PGT) Canadian National Champion Patrick Richard. " I am stoked that our teams have come together to make this deal a reality," says Scott Trinder.

The team will test run the car next week at the Wild West National Pro Rally in Olympia Washington. Rocket Rally navigator Ian McCerdy will co-drive for Scott to gain valuable (NORPAC) championship points, as Pat will have US co-driver Ben Bradley in the passenger seat.

"I am optimistic about the car and its handling characteristics as Pat and I have similar driving styles. I definitely have some big shoes to fill, and hope our team can reach Rocket Rally's former glory" says Scott.

The Wild West National Pro Rally will be aired on Speedvision Monday Oct 8, 2001 at 17:00/21:00.
