RSport Rally driver Scott Trinder and father Robert are preparing to defend their teams overall victory at the Pacific Forest Rally in 2001.

The Pacific Forest Rally will be held in Merritt, BC this weekend (June 8, 2002). The event is round 4 of the Western Canadian Rally Championship.

The team will compete in the Production--P4 class in a Subaru Impreza RS. The competition has increased since last year as some teams have entered the event in Open Class cars. Open Class is the top class in the Canadian Rally Championship in regard to car preparation and power.

“Some stages are over 20 kilometers long and for these stages a production car has a significant reliability advantage—hopefully this will of set our power disadvantage!” says Scott (driver).
