Knight Motorports Inc. driver Scott Trinder and co-driver Paul Westwick will be competeing in the Wild West Pro Rally, driving an Open class Subaru Impreza 2.5RS Turbo.

RSport Rally driver Bob Trinder and Bill Westhead will also be competing in the event in a production class Subaru Impreza 2.5RS.

Wild West is part of the SCCA Pro-Rally Championship. This years event will take place out of Olympia, Washington on September 7-8, 2002. The event has drawn over 70 international entries!

"Wild West is our home event. Both my father and I are excited to have the oportunity to drive in the rally" says Scott. Paul Westwick organizer of the Thunderbird Rally brings a wealth of knowlege to the team. "I am thrilled to have Paul in the passenger seat because he is calm and accurate with instructions" says Scott. "I was surprised to be offered the co-drivers seat by Scott. We have rallyed together in the past and I look forward to riding in the Open class car prepared by Knight Motorsports" says Paul.

Bill Westhead brings many years of experience to the team, however Wild West will be his first time reading notes. "I am looking forward to trying the new stage note system as we have not yet adopted it in Western Canada. I would also like to thank RSport Rally for inviting me to co-drive at this event" says Bill.

In 2001 Scott and Ian McCurdy finished the Wild West Pro Rally 10th overall in the RSport Rally (production class) Subaru Impreza. Bob Trinder and Andy White's most recent result came at the Dryad Quest club rally (June 2002), they finished the event first in PGT (production) class.
